Citizen Petition to Ban Amnesty
TO: President Barack Obama, Speaker Nancy Pelosi, Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid & The United States CongressAs an American Citizen concerned with the future of this great nation I love so deeply, I, the undersigned, join with my fellow Americans and friends at Ban Amnesty Now in petitioning the following:
Whereas, I proudly stood with my fellow Americans in 2007 to defeat the McCain-Kennedy Amnesty bill;
Whereas, I deeply oppose the agreement between President Barack Obama, congressional Democrats and open-borders advocates such as John McCain to once again pass similar legislation despite the opposition of a vast majority of Americans to such a bill;
Whereas, the 12-to-23 million illegal immigrants from more than 200 nations living in the United States today are direct evidence of the failure of the last Amnesty granted to illegals two decades ago;
And whereas, the United States cannot afford the $3.9 Trillion in new taxpayer funded costs which Amnesty would create;
I do hereby join B.A.N. and its membership in petitioning my nation’s elected leadership to dismiss and reject any and all legislative proposals granting Amnesty to aliens living illegally in the United States, while simultaneously undertaking all necessary steps to immediately secure America’s borders.
Respectfully Submitted,

Former United States Treasurer Angela Marie “Bay” Buchanan and former Colorado Congressman Tom Tancredo today joined BanAmnestyNow.com as honorary national co-chairs. Buchanan and Tancredo will serve in this capacity alongside honorary co-chairs Arizona Senator Russell Pearce, sponsor of SB1070, and Maricopa County Sheriff Joe Arpaio, America’s toughest lawman.

According to militants in the ranks of MoveOn.org, La Raza and the rest of the open borders, pro-Amnesty crowd, Americans who oppose amnesty for illegal aliens are guilty of racism.
U.S. Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-Nevada) shocked many Americans this week when he announced "I don't know how anyone of Hispanic heritage could be a Republican, okay. Do I need to say more?"

For this short poll, inspired by a discussion on the B.A.N. Facebook site, please think about President Obama and Governor Palin and their positions and leadership ability on immigration and amnesty for illegal aliens, and vote accordingly.....

BanAmnestyNow.com national co-chairman Sheriff Arpaio is a vigilant leader, enforcing the laws that Congress and the White House pretend don't exist. In this short video originally posted on USA Today (sorry for the 20-second ad at the start), Sheriff Arpaio is at the BanAmnestyNow.com press conference and answers questions about the new DoJ political lawsuit against his efforts to stop illegal immigration.

Recovery summer, opposition to Arizona’s immigration law, negative campaigning and intervention in the ground zero mosque dispute — call them President Barack Obama’s Four Disasters. As policy, they’re questionable. As political exercises, they’re losers. As clues about Obama, they’re evidence he’s lost his political knack.

What does $600 million in federal government spending buy these days? For Arizonans, around 500 national guardsmen who may or may not arrive at the border, at which time they won't be allowed (under any circumstances) to stop illegal aliens from crossing into the United States. Short of calling Border Patrol and saying "Hey, you'll never guess what we just saw." This is Obama and Congress at their finest. Mind you, these are the same people (Obama and Congress, that is) who are actually HOLDING HOSTAGE American border security until we (Americans) cave in and support AMNESTY for the 12-to-23 million illegal aliens living in our country today.

With all of the criticism against Arizona’s SB1070, it’s easy to miss the fact that this bill has already begun to make ripples and inspired other states to step up and take illegal immigration seriously. A number of Colorado legislators headed to Arizona to meet with a number of Arizona representatives including B.A.N co-chair, Russell Pearce. They left persuaded of the severity of Arizona’s illegal alien problems and convinced that—despite the Obama Administration’s willingness to support amnesty—bill’s like SB1070 are pivotal in keeping America safe and great.

When illegal aliens compromise our borders, threaten the sanctity of our country, and knowingly break our laws, Barack Obama and the rest of the open-borders, pro-Amnesty crowd are essentially willing to hand them a welcome-to-the-US cup of coffee, along with a mini-American flag to wave all the while looking the other way to the crimes they are committing on top of the crime they committed coming here.

Well there we have it: John McCain out-muscled (or perhaps just out-spent) J. D. Hayworth and won the Republican Senate nomination for the great State of Arizona and, as Michael Tomasky of the Guardian, states “he will win in November, barring a heart attack or something between now and then.” John McCain is an icon and figurehead in the state of Arizona, yet he is horribly out of touch with what the people of his state want, need, and deserve.
